Building a Web App with CodeIgniter + jQuery
From scratch we will install and build a simple interactive web application using CodeIgniter and jQuery. Feel free to bring your laptop and follow along. We will have to move quickly but can split the Meetup into two sessions if needed. Please make plans to get together and keep EE+CI rolling. Food and drink provided by Caddis, venue to be announced. If you are interested in hosting a future Meetup or presenting please let me know.

Michael, Thanks for a great presentation! Although I know CI quite well, I always learn something new. It's good to see how others use it!
I feel bad that on top of putting together the presentation you are also having to foot the bill for the room. Can I help out some with the room rent?

Tim DunckleeMichael, Great job! Most intros to building an app only take people to the bare basics. Your demo showed everyone that it really is not that big of a deal to quickly put together the pieces required for a fully functional application with CI. By including TankAuth and jQuery, you took it to the next level. Thank you! I look forward to downloading the demo files when you get them ready as well as the next meeting.
